Hull Sides and Stern Sanded

Yesterday, I sanded the hull sides and transom starting with 80 grit, then 120 grit, and then 220 grit with my orbital sander. I hand sanded the gunwhales and rub rails and the fillets on them. Hand and back breaking work!!!This took a total of 12 hours.
Now I need to sand the interior areas and then paint one of these days!
12 hours

  1. hey todd! I have followed your work for some time and really appreciate the work you do with the mini tugboats. I am a young professional, I graduated from a degree in tourism, I have 23 years old and I've always liked this type of project especially nautical. I decided some time ago to do this project specifically the mini tug, perfect 10 model. I have only clippings, internet articles, photos and a series of information I was gathering ido a while. I could buy planes because in my country, Venezuela, we have problems in getting foreign currency to buy dollars, and all because we have a government that claims to be cursed and not so democratic. we want to bankrupt all citizens. thank god there is little time for this change in our nation. sorry for the words but this is very hard here. But against all odds I'll do my project. hopefully I get it right. I am studying the last details to get started. having written a pleasure, thanks for posting pictures and explain the process, so you've helped people who are starting and do not have the facilities that exist in your country, as in my case.
    sorry my level english
